Privacy Policy

In short

This site has no accounts, no advertising trackers, and no analytics cookies. We hold your email and the material you send us only for as long as your project needs, and we never sell anything to anyone.

Last updated 25 September 2026

What we collect

  • If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply and keep a record of the commission.
  • For a client project we hold whatever you send: manuscripts, photographs, names, and reference material.
  • Our host keeps standard server access logs. These are generated automatically and used for security and troubleshooting.
  • There is no contact form, no newsletter signup, and no account system on this site.

How we treat client material

  • Manuscripts and photographs you send for a commission are used for that project alone.
  • We do not publish, resell, or share your material, and we do not use it to train machine-learning systems.
  • Project files are kept for twelve months after delivery in case you need them again, then deleted on request at any time.
  • Where a project involves a child's name or likeness, that material is treated as sensitive and is never used as a public sample without your written permission.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal information.
  • We run no advertising networks, remarketing pixels, or cross-site tracking.
  • We set no analytics cookies.
  • We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Third parties

  • Web hosting is provided by Hostinger, which processes server logs on our behalf.
  • Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which receives a request from your browser including your IP address.
  • Purchase links on our book pages point to Amazon, whose privacy policy governs once you arrive there.

Your rights

  • You may ask what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it.
  • If you are in the EU or UK, our lawful basis is performance of a contract for client work and legitimate interest in answering correspondence.
  • If you are in California, you have the right to know and delete. Nothing is ever sold, so the opt-out right has nothing to act on.
  • To make a request, email us and say what you would like done.
